Thought and scribblings
A Druid Looks at 40
As I look back on my life
Things have changed since yesterday
So many people I have loved are gone
Or simply passed away
I have seen many days in my life
Days of sun and rain
I've had bouts of unmitigated joy
and times of unbearable pain
I've seen so many changes
I don't know who to trust
Sometimes it seems the dreams I had
have slowly turned to rust
So I ask myself what lies ahead
What does the future hold
Will the sands of time all slip away
or become grains of gold?

The Road to Paradise
We follow the Moon Flower Maiden, seek her, seeking a Path.
Along that path we find Friends, Dangers,
Places sometime best not traveled.
Roads of pavement, roads of mud,
Roads of ice, roads of blood.
Seeking Paradise.
What is the road?
A road followed with friends, or followed alone.
Is it the road to madness in the eye of man?
Or is it the road to sadness in the eye of the wolf?
To find the Moon Flower Maiden,
We search and find, but we find the search leads down different roads.
We live the journey, with the Moon Flower Maiden.
Seeking the path to Paradise.
But the journey is life, life with the ones you love.
And someday the road, like life will end.
I wonder will we recognize paradise?
Will we realize that maybe paradise is the path,
Walked with the Moon Flower Maiden.
